About Newton County Turner Lake Park

4.4 / 5 from reviews

Turner Lake is home to four state-of-the-art Girls Softball Fields. Well lighted and easily accessible, these regulation fields were developed to meet the needs and requirements of sanctioned softball tournaments. A central press box provides an elevated viewing station for all the statisticians and other team personal. An unobstructed walkway and seating area enables spectators to move easily about the softball complex. Turner Lake also provides three easily accessible batting cages for warm up before the games.

Love it here, so does my Grandson. He loves seeing and feeding the ducks. Great place to take children and adults also. We enjoy the picnic tables under the shade trees, Make sure you bring a picnic lunch or dinner. One of the times we went, my grandson fed a squirrel! I have tons of pictures. Bring your camera to capture those special moments!

It is lovely and peaceful. Nice place for kids to ride a bike. My only problem is the duck poop on the paved pathway near the lake. Which can not be helped. Other than that it is clean and well maintained.

Such a beautiful peaceful place for single people or families. The lake is a great place to take kids to fish. There are several easy walking trails to walk and benches along the lake and some of the trails to sit and take a break, or just enjoy the piece and quiet and the beauty of the area.

Love the views while running here. There is an asphalt trail as well as a beautiful and peaceful nature trail. Great place to run with your dog especially on the nature trail. Also nice for bikes on the asphalt.
