About US Post Office

1.7 / 5 from reviews

A self-supporting, independent federal agency, the U.S. Postal Service is the only delivery service that reaches every address in the nation: 155 million residences, businesses and Post Office Boxes. The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.

With more than 31,600 retail locations and the most frequently visited website in the federal government, usps.com, the Postal Service has annual revenue of nearly $69 billion and delivers 47 percent of the world’s mail. With more than half a million employees, the Postal Service is one of the nation’s largest employers. If it were a private sector company, the U.S. Postal Service would rank 43rd in the 2015 Fortune 500 and 137th in the 2015 Global Fortune 500 list. The Postal Service has one of the world’s largest computer networks — linking nearly 32,000 facilities and making communication possible between hundreds of thousands of employees,

The customer service is TERRIBLE!!!!!! If I could give them (-100000000) I would. Who is doing the hiring? Ms. Harvey does not need to to be in no position at the post office; she answers the phone so rudely, she hangs/slams the phone without saying thank you or you’re welcome, not even good bye. And You’ll want to criticize our President!!! Mrs. Nancy is a nice lady. Mr. Tim is the Postmaster, I’ve spoken with him on and about issues with packages and Ms. Harveys attitude, and he was cordial, but I see he must didn’t address her so on to my next level in getting great customer service. Sooo Sad that people get away with poor customer service!!! Also I’m told to put who’s mail should be delivered to my address, I’ve left it inside the mailbox and spoke with and verified to them at the post office, guess what I’m still getting mail from I’m guessing everyone that’s ever lived here. 🤦🏾‍♀️

Package tossed across the porch. Apparently this is how the United States Postal Service treats your packages when they don’t think anyone’s looking!

I've had 8 out of 9 holiday packages delivered to the wrong address. Yesterday 1/08/2020 I was expecting a package valued at over $1000.00 (the seller selected USPS as the Carrier) and I looked through my neighborhood and found the mail-lady at another house that had the same number address as mine, a different street name. My husband and I barely caught her as she had just delivered my package to the wrong address again. It took over 5 minutes for the residents to answer the door after she had literally just gave them the package. When they finally answered the door they had already opened MY package and started to unpack it. They claimed they couldn't hear the mail-lady banging on the door. Needless to say I retrieved my package and was able to get everything back

I keep calling to find out why my mail keeps getting taken from my outgoing mail slot and being put back down into the incoming mail box. It's pretty irritating that our customers are not recieving their invoices on time due to someone else. When I call the annex to try to resolve the issue, the line is either busy or the woman that answers the phone is incredibly rude and very unhelpful. When I put the mail in the box on Fridays, I come by on Monday morning and the flag isn't down nor is the mail picked up.

Horrible place. No respect. The lady do nasty when answering the phone, They deliver my package and left it no one signed for it or anything. When they are wrong and prove in wrong they still want to argue with you. The employees brake something they don’t want to pay for it ☹️ Needs new employees Barbra is a supervisor and talk so nasty to people like lady you don’t like your job you should quit. This post office is the worst I ever dealt with.
